A few good life lessons were pulled out of this section. The first life lesson i found was if ones good at something then one should stick with it and continue to do it. Chris McCandless was an extremly good salesman and he was offered a job and to have his college tuition paid for but he refused because thats not what he wanted at all. Another life lesson is things that happen in the past should stay in the past. One should forgive and move on. Chris holds a grudge on his father after he finds out about Walt's affairs and Walt's other family. One of Chris's main reasons for leaving is because of his grudge, but if he would have forgave his father and moved on he would probably still be alive now. The biggest life lesson i found in this section is to know ones limits. Krakauer knows his limits and shows us this when he decides to turn around and go back down the Devil's thumb because he doesnt feel he can go any further. Instead of pushing himself and possibly causing his own death he decides to follow his limit and turn around. He also knows that he can't survive with limited resources so by knowing his limit he meets with a pilot before his trip and plots a location for the pilot to drop off supplies for him. Chris McCandless however didn't know his limit. He went into the wild pushing himself to his limits and then once he was in the wild he exceeded his limits and brought about his own death.
